This magnesium powder was suggested to me after I complained about anxiety a few months back. I simply mix a spoonful with water one or two times daily. It is easy to drink and tastes fruity, but not too sweet.
Magnesium is one of the most important basic nutrients that power our bodies and it is required for more than 700 biochemical reactions. Our bodies’ don’t produce this mineral and we need to replenish its supply every day. Due to nutrient-deficient soil and fast-paced lifestyles few of us (estimated at less than one in five) get sufficient magnesium in our diets.
According to MS Diet for Woman: “A magnesium deficiency is a common finding in MS and spasticity can often be traced to low levels of magnesium. This deficiency may be caused by a diet high in refined and processed foods and saturated fat.”
“Symptoms of multiple sclerosis that are also symptoms of magnesium deficiency include: muscle spasms, weakness, twitching, an inability to control the bladder, hearing loss and osteoporosis. Even a mild deficiency of magnesium can cause increased sensitivity to noise, nervousness, irritability, depression, confusion, twitching, trembling, apprehension, and insomnia.”
This powder is easier for me to consume regularly versus having to swallow another pill everyday. With anything new, it is important to talk to your doctor and to make sure you are taking the correct amounts of magnesium.
