Wouldn’t an app to provide all our multiple sclerosis patient information be helpful? myMS is a smartphone app meant to gather medical data, including MRIs, genetic information and access it anywhere. The app also plans to track walking, cognitive and visual tasks.
“We want to see how patients are doing at home. This is how we are going to learn about this disease. Research is not moving fast enough because of traditional tracking methods, this new app has a shot of changing the way we track a disease.” Pelletier told Healthline. Personally, I find this app would help me remember medication doses or symptoms that I forget when I am in my doctor’s office. I’ve also have had problems with my new doctor accessing old MRIs, which can be frustrating.
Personally, I believe this app would aid me at my neurologist visits as I often forget the doses of medication and previous symptom details. I’ve also had problems with my new doctor accessing old MRIs and my medical history.
